Building a house - part 4

Today was a big day for my house ! I had to choose everything from ceramics, white wood, handle, brick, top for kitchen counter, ... Took me and my parents 1hour and a half.

Here's the house at this moment; roof is done and window were being installed when I took the picture (which was through my car window, which was a bit dirty !)




















I also saw the hole for my left neighbours's house.... and believe me it will be HUGE! If I'm not wrong their house will be on 2 "land" (2 terrains de large!) ...

I've got walls !!












Is it me or it looks very small ?! ;-)

Again again ...

After my boss and one of the tech guy, the database administrator is leaving, this one was totally unexpected. This is the third person leaving in a month or so... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh another 5 to 7 !!!

New house - part 5: more details...

Here's more details about my house:

Location:
- St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (about 3 mins from Phil's house...)


































Pricing:
- Base price for the house is 110k .
- The land is 30k (6000 square foot * 5$).
- White woods or ceramics everywhere is 7000$.
- 4000$ for the 2 bay-window
- A couple of other things like network connection around the house ;-)

Final price is 170k taxes included.

Building a house - part 1

December 30th: My basement is done !











I'll be at the left of the house on the picture. I don't have much space between my house and the one on the right but I'll have a lot more on the left side.

New house - part 4: Done !

4 months to go exactly... my new house is suppose to be delivered on may 15th... which let them a month and a half in case they are late ! I bought it a week before christmas and my parents came yesterday to have a look at the "model house".

My house will looks like this one (the one without a garage !) :

















For the first time yesterday I had a look at the different kind of whitewood (bois-franc), ceramics, brick and everything else I will have to choose. There is like 300 differents kind of handle its crazy... I'm glad my parents will come back to choose all these stuff !
